The New Testament: A Forgery?

An article was brought to my attention a few days ago because it was posted by one of my Facebook acquaintances. This person claims to be atheist but in watching the posts over about a year now, I'd say it's more like anti-Christian. Anything against Christianity or God (or any organized religion almost) is unapologetically posted as fact and I have to admit that while I understand where some of the points come from, they certainly get annoying when it's clear that the people posting the articles and the authors of the articles themselves really know little about leading a life of faith or spiritual discipline at all.

However, in spite of all this, I tend to read some of the articles so that I can feel somewhat knowledgeable about where these folks are coming from. Author, Brian Nelson, implies that the Bible's New Testament is nothing more than a collection of forgeries. The claim is that nearly half the New Testament falls into the category of forgery. The article's author claims that books said to be written by the apostle Paul are actually written by someone other than Paul, using sentence structure as their "proof". Books said to be written by Peter take a hit simply because someone in a fisherman's position in those days likely would be illiterate? Of course, we all know there are never any exceptions, right?

The article, found on a site called Mother Nature Network, is really not worth much. It carries no proof but makes accusations galore. It certainly had nothing to cause me to doubt my faith or to deny my God. I don't doubt that there will be some though....
