free time and planning..

I'd sure love to feel like I have enough time in a day. I know I'd have a lot of time on my hands for things if I dropped some of my online activities but since we don't get out much and such, it's kind of my outlet to the world. Now if I can just get some time to blog in addition to my facebook time and twitter time... and still get done things like working my almost 3/4 time job, laundry, house work, yard work, and the awaiting renovation things. Tall order? Shouldn't be, really... but somehow it is.

We accomplished one important thing over the past day or so in addition to work. We decided on a new shed for the yard. I sure hope we can get it without having to order online and pay a small fortune for shipping! It's just a little smaller than our current one which uses up a large portion of our outdoor space.. enough to allow us to fit it in between our cedar trees and back fence. That will free up some space, for sure. There are juniper bushes there right now but the plan is to get rid of most or all of that, if possible. Of course, all our utility lines run right under those shrubbery things. We have been told it can be done so that's the plan. We also want to put a stone or concrete patio out there instead of a deck or even sidewalk if we can. I have this image in my mind of a little bistro table for two where we can have a cup of coffee/tea on warm summer mornings... and then evenings around the outdoor fireplace.

Our house and yard have come a long way in the 10 years we've been here. I love my home! One day I'll share some before and after shots.
